9. Cookies and Website Tracking

This website is a static HTML site. We do not set any first-party tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. The only external resource loaded is the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, which causes your browser to make a request to Google's servers.

What Is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by a website. Cookies can be used for session management, personalisation, analytics, or advertising. This website does not use cookies for any of those purposes.

10. GDPR & UK GDPR

Applicability

Blazer is an Iraqi company. However, because our parent company Bremesgraf IT & Telecommunication Consultant is registered in the United Kingdom, and because this website is accessible to visitors from the European Union and the United Kingdom, we recognise our obligations under:

  • UK GDPR (the UK General Data Protection Regulation, retained in UK law under the Data Protection Act 2018)
  • EU GDPR (Regulation 2016/679) — to the extent we offer services to, or monitor the behaviour of, EU data subjects

Lawful Bases under GDPR

Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following lawful bases for processing:

  • Article 6(1)(b) — Contract: Processing necessary to deliver services you have requested or contracted
  • Article 6(1)(f) — Legitimate interests: Operating our website, responding to enquiries, and managing business relationships — where our interests do not override your fundamental rights
  • Article 6(1)(c) — Legal obligation: Compliance with applicable law (Iraqi, UK, and EU where relevant)
  • Article 6(1)(a) — Consent: Loading Google Fonts (you may withdraw consent via the cookie banner at any time)

International Data Transfers

If you accept Google Fonts, your browser sends a request to Google LLC, headquartered in the United States. This constitutes a transfer of personal data (your IP address) outside the UK/EU. Google LLC participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and provides Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as a transfer mechanism under UK GDPR. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

No other international transfers of personal data are made by this website.

Your Rights under GDPR

If GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the following rights in addition to those listed in Section 8:

  • Right to data portability (Art. 20): Receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18): Request that we restrict processing under certain circumstances
  • Right not to be subject to automated decision-making (Art. 22): We do not carry out automated profiling or decision-making
  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)): Withdraw any previously given consent at any time, without affecting lawfulness of prior processing

Supervisory Authorities

If you are in the United Kingdom and believe we have not handled your data in compliance with UK GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):

  • Website: ico.org.uk
  • Helpline: 0303 123 1113

If you are in the European Union, you may contact the data protection authority in your EU member state.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (such as technology partners). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies independently.

12. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
